Desert Hackberry - Celtis pallida

The Desert Hackberry (Celtis pallida) is a naturalizing semi-evergreen used mainly for habitat and erosion control. The thorns, berries and flowers provide food and cover for wildlife. This plant is miserable to encounter as a human. The native species is most common in production.
