Mexican Redbud - Cercis canadensis 'Mexicana'

The Mexican Redbud (Cercis canadensis 'Mexicana') is a small flowering tree for landscapes, gardens, and naturalizing. This variety is rounder and smaller than Cercis canadensis with a glossier leaf. This variety is more prone to winter kill than other varieties of the species. This is a naturally occurring variation of Cercis canadensis.
