Oklahoma Redbud - Cercis canadensis var. texensis 'Oklahoma'

The Oklahoma Redbud (Cercis canadensis var. texensis 'Oklahoma') is a small flowering tree for landscapes, gardens, and naturalizing. This variety is larger than Mexican Redbud but otherwise identical. There is still debate over whether these are the same and the differences are cultural. This variety is more prone to winter kill than other varieties of the species. This is a naturally occurring variation of Cercis canadensis.
