Western Red Bud - Cercis occidentalis

The Western Red Bud (Cercis occidentalis) is a small deciduous flowering tree for landscapes and gardens. This is one of the most drought tolerant species of Cercis and tolerates extreme summer heat. This is one of the least cold hardy of all the Cercis. The native species is most common in production.
