Atlantic Whitecedar - Chamaecyparis thyoides

The Atlantic Whitecedar (Chamaecyparis thyoides) is a large coniferous pyramidal evergreen for naturalizing and timber. This species is tolerant of swampy conditions and grows naturally up and down the east coast. This plant has no negatives of note. There are smaller cultivated varieties more common in production.
