Gray Rabbitbrush - Chrysothamnus nauseosus

The Gray Rabbitbrush (Chrysothamnus nauseosus) is a large broadleaf evergreen shrub naturalized throughout areas of the United States with dry winters. The plant is rich in character and interest. It is especially attractive in harsh arid settings. Both the leaf and flower add interest to any landscape. This plant does not like prolonged moisture. It may do best in a well drained container if in cooler climates. There are many subspecies but the native form is most common in wide production.
