Common Orange - Citrus sinensis

The Common Orange (Citrus sinensis) is a small to medium sized fruit bearing broadleaf evergreen tree for landscapes and gardens. This plant is the parent species of most hybrid oranges, and is the sweetest of the naturally occuring species. This plant can reseed and become an invasive species. As a result it has naturalized much of FL and LA. This is a native species with cultivated varieties in production.
