Fern-leaved Clematis - Clematis cirrhosa var. balearica
The Fern-leaved Clematis (Clematis cirrhosa var. balearica) is a climbing broadleaf evergreen vine for landscapes and gardens. This vine has very fragrant flowers all winter long and is evergreen, but not as dense as Clematis armandii. This vine requires something to climb (trellis) and needs moisture in the winter to prevent winter die back. The native species is most common in production.
