The Pagoda Dogwood (Cornus alternifolia) is a medium sized deciduous flowering tree great for landscapes gardens and naturalizing. The tree has an excellent habit and graceful branching that are not done justice with photos. The flower, foliage, and berries are also solid performers. This species is susceptible to anthracnose, but rarely overtaken by it. The native species is most common in production.
