The Rough-leaved Dogwood (Cornus drummundii) is a large deciduous flowering shrub for landscapes, gardens, and naturalizing. The plant has a nice flower in late spring but the berry show with the red stems is just as impressive. The species is a prolific suckerer and needs room to roam. The native species is most common in production.
