Tricolor Dogwood - Cornus florida 'Welchii'
The Tricolor Dogwood (Cornus florida 'Welchii') is a medium sized flowering tree for landscapes, gardens and naturalizing. The attractive variegated tricolor foliage looks good from a distance and up close. This species can be prone to anthracnoseand mildew. Morning light will help prevent both. Branches may also revert to parent species. This vareity is a cultivar of Cornus florida. Flower, berry, and fall photos are taken from parent species.
