White Dogwood - Cornus florida (white)

The White Dogwood (Cornus florida (white)) is a medium sized flowering tree for landscapes, gardens and naturalizing. This is probably the most popular flowering tree of all. The flowers typically coincide with Easter. The species can be prone to anthracnose and mildew. Morning light will help prevent both. Cornus florida blooms in both pink and white naturally. There are many cultivars of this species in production.
