Mountain Fire Flame Twig Dogwood - Cornus sanguinea 'Midwinter Fire'
The Mountain Fire Flame Twig Dogwood (Cornus sanguinea 'Midwinter Fire') is a medium sized flowering shrub for landscapes, and gardens. This species is planted predominately for the winter interest. This plant is very prone to fungus, and with the new growth coming out reddish it seams like it starts falling off before it ever turns green. This is a cultivated variety of Cornus alba.
