Hedge Cotoneaster - Cotoneaster lucidus

The Hedge Cotoneaster (Cotoneaster lucidus) is a medium sized deciduous shrub for landscapes, gardens and hedges. There is not much positive about this shrub other than the fact that it is hardy. This variety is prone to fire blight and often loses all leaves before achieving color. The berry lacks the red color of other varieties. The native species is most common in production.
