Crimson Cloud English Hawthorn - Crataegus laevigata 'Crimson Cloud'
The Crimson Cloud English Hawthorn (Crataegus laevigata 'Crimson Cloud') is a small flowering tree or large shrub for landscapes and gardens. This variety produces a very abundant pink or red flower that is uncommon in Hawthorns. It is also resistant to leaf spot. The tree is very thorny and the flowers are often considered "stinky". Leaves rarely achieves fall color before freezing. This is a cultivated variety of Crataegus laevigata.
