Winter King Hawthorn - Crataegus viridis 'Winter King'
The Winter King Hawthorn (Crataegus viridis 'Winter King') is a medium sized flowering tree for landscapes, gardens and naturalizing. This is the best all around Hawthorn hands down! It is a solid performer in every aspect and highly recommended. It does get fire blight, but seems to be tolerant of it and able to retain foliage and achieve fall color. This is a cultivated variety of Crataegus viridis.
