Koshyi Japanese Cedar - Cryptomeria japonica 'Koshyi'

The Koshyi Japanese Cedar (Cryptomeria japonica 'Koshyi') is a small ground covering evergreen perfect for rock gardens and dry locations. The round flat spreading habit makes it behave more like a groundcover than a shrub. Excessive water in the heat can cause the center of the plant to brown out and not grow back. This is a cultivated variety of Cryptomeria japonica.
