Sekkan Sugi Japanese Cedar - Cryptomeria japonica 'Sekkan Sugi'
The Sekkan Sugi Japanese Cedar (Cryptomeria japonica 'Sekkan Sugi') is a medium sized pyramidal evergreen for landscapes and gardens. Yellow branchlets give this a gold color that is very colorful in the spring summer and fall. The foliage is prone to burning in the winter in cold dry winds. Winter watering may lessen this. This is a cultivated variety of Cryptomeria japonica.
