Smooth Arizona Cypress - Cupressus glabra
The Smooth Arizona Cypress (Cupressus glabra) is a medium sized pyramidal evergreen for landscapes and gardens found naturalized throughout he Southwestern United States. This plant has a nice open character, but stays fairly narrow until later in life. The needles are a true blue and are consistent throughout the branches. This plant has no negatives of note. This plant is often sold as Cupressus arizonica or Cupressus glabra. There are more cultivars of this species in production.
