Pineapple Broom - Cytisus battandieri

The Pineapple Broom (Cytisus battandieri) is a deciduous flowering tree for landscapes and gardens. This plant has an incredible yellow flower show for almost two months in summer. The species has a suckering habit and the old growth dies back every few years needing to be cleaned out. The native species is most common in production.
