Scotch Broom - Cytisus scoparius

The Scotch Broom (Cytisus scoparius) is a large flowering broadleaf evergreen shrub for landscapes and gardens. This plant has year round interest in the foliage and flower. This is an extremely invasive species and really shouldn't be used. Unfortunately it cannot be contained do to the mobility of the seed. Several varieties of this species are in production, but probably shouldn't be due to the invasive nature.
