Indian Rosewood - Dalbergia sissoo

The Indian Rosewood (Dalbergia sissoo) is a large deciduous shade tree for topical and sub tropical landscapes and gardens. This is one of the few large sprawling shade trees for warmer climates. However, what it is most sought for is the wood for fine carpentry. The flower is very non-descript and almost unnoticable. The native species is most common in production.
