Flore-pleno Fuzzy Deutzia - Deutzia scabra 'Flore-pleno'

The Flore-pleno Fuzzy Deutzia (Deutzia scabra 'Flore-pleno') is a deciduous flowering shrub for gardens, landscapes and borders. This plant was planted heavily in the mid 1900's and is often mistaken for Deutzia gracilis in older gardens. It remains a steady performer. Pruning back branch tips will destroy the habit of this plant. There are more cultivars of this plant in production, but this is the most widely found.
