Gum Palm - Dioon spinulosum

The Gum Palm (Dioon spinulosum) is a medium sized broadleaf evergreen shrub or small tree for landscapes or gardens. This plant is most often found in the shrub form but can develop a small trunk. Most notable is the large cone that forms in the center of the leaves. Parts of this plant can be poisonsous if consumed. The native species is most common in production.
