Redbud Hazel - Disanthus cercidifolius

The Redbud Hazel (Disanthus cercidifolius) is a flowering shrub for gardens, landscapes and borders. This plant has a Redbud like appearance in a shrub form. The only distinguishing characteristic is a berry rather than bean for it's fruit. This is a favorite of deer. The native species is most common in production.
