South African Wild Pear - Dombeya rotundifolia

The South African Wild Pear (Dombeya rotundifolia) is a flowering deciduous tree for landscapes and gardens. This plant draws the name from the prolific blooms that from a distance can look like a Pear. It only bears a small fruit though and is actually not related to a Pear at all. This plant has no negatives of note. The native species is most common in production.
