Paperbark - Edgeworthia papyrifera

The Paperbark (Edgeworthia papyrifera) is an early spring flowering shrub for gardens and landscapes. This plant has lush foliage in summer and early spring flowers emerge before most natives come out. It has a very similar flower and timing to Fothergilla. This plant has no negatives of note. The native species is most common in production.
