Loquat - Eriobotrya japonica

The Loquat (Eriobotrya japonica) is a broadleaf evergreen tree planted mainly for fruit production but great for landscapes and gardens. This plant has fragrant flowers, lush evergreen leaves, and edible fruit. The fruit can make a mess if not harvested. There are several cultivars produced for varying fruit qualities.
