Red River Gum - Eucalyptus camaldulensis

The Red River Gum (Eucalyptus camaldulensis) is a broadleaf evergreen tree for landscapes and gardens. This is one of the larger growing Gums and is noted for the red stripes in the exfoliating bark. It is also more upright than some Gums and can be used as a street tree. The shedding of branches and leaves can get messy on older trees. This plant can also get invasive in the wild. The native species is most common in production.
