Butterscotch Box Euonymous - Euonymous japonicus 'Microphyllus Butterscotch'

The Butterscotch Box Euonymous (Euonymous japonicus 'Microphyllus Butterscotch') is a small broadleaf evergreen flowering shrub for landscapes and gardens. This particular variety is sought for the yellow foliage and requires very little pruning. This plant is prone to scale, rust and freeze damage. Branches may revert to the non-variegated species and should be pruned out at the branch intersection prior to where the reversion starts. This is a cultivated variety of Euonymous japonicus. Photos from the parent species may aid in identification.
