Eastern Wahoo - Euonymus atropurpureus

The Eastern Wahoo (Euonymus atropurpureus) is a deciduous tree or shrub found mostly in the native habitat of Eastern hardwood forests. This is a very hardy fast growing small tree with a unique purple flower. The species is very prone to fungus and may lose the leaves before reaching fall color. The native species is most common in production.
