Kidneywood - Eysenhardtia orthocarpa

The Kidneywood (Eysenhardtia orthocarpa) is a small flowering tree or large shrub for landscapes, gardens, or borders. This a rambling, naturalizing tree best for naturalistic settings. The flowers are showy up close but blend with foliage at a distance. This plant is listed as deciduous, but is oftern evergreen in zones 10 and 11. The native species is most common in production.
