European Beech - Fagus sylvativatica

The European Beech (Fagus sylvativatica) is a large deciduous shade tree ideal for landscapes and gardens. A great tree with all the wonderful attributes of Fagus grandifolia. The main difference is that this variety has been cultivated for hundreds of years into almost as many varieties. This plant has no negatives of note. There are numerous cultivars of this species in production.
