Chalate Fig - Ficus insipida

The Chalate Fig (Ficus insipida) is a medium sized fruit bearing tree for landscapes and gardens with broadleaf evergreen leaves. This plant is often grown for the habit and foliage that form a nice medium sized shade tree, but the fruit is edible as well. This plant has no negatives of note. The native species is most common in production.
