The Sonoran Strangler Fig (Ficus pertusa) is a medium sized fruit bearing tree for landscapes and gardens with broadleaf evergreen leaves. This plant is often grown for the longer broader foliage than other figs. It forms a nice medium sized shade tree, and the fruit is edible as well. This plant has no negatives of note. The native species is most common in production.
