Palo Jito - Forchhammeria watsonii

The Palo Jito (Forchhammeria watsonii) is a medium broadleaf evergreen tree for arid climates often used as a house plant. This plant is also called a 'Lollipop tree' because it is often found as the only thing green standing alone in the desert like a lollipop. This plant can defoliate in severe drought or as new leaves emerge. The native species is most common in production.
