Kumquat - Fortunella margarita

The Kumquat (Fortunella margarita) is a small broadleaf evergreen fruit bearing tree for warmer climates. This plant is a repeat bloomer, capable of bearing fruit year round in protected areas. The flower is not visibly noticable, but is extremely fragrant. This plant is for thorny and can be difficult to handle. There are more cultivars of this species in production.
