Jane Platt Fothergilla - Fothergilla gardenii 'Jane Platt'
The Jane Platt Fothergilla (Fothergilla gardenii 'Jane Platt') is a small to medium sized deciduous shrub for landscapes, gardens and naturalizing that is native to the Southeastern United States. The species has a nice fragrant flower that attracts humming birds and butterflies. It also has and attractive bark on older specimens. This plant has no negatives of note. This is a cultivated variety of Fothergilla gardenii.
