Franklin Tree - Franklinia alatamaha

The Franklin Tree (Franklinia alatamaha) is a native to small regions of the Southern Appalachians and growing in popularity for gardens and landscapes. This plant has a great fall color and branching habit with a rare fall flower. The species is difficult to transplant and needs protection in winter. The native species is most common in production.
