Raywood Ash, Claret Ash - Fraxinus oxycarpa 'Raywood'

The Raywood Ash, Claret Ash (Fraxinus oxycarpa 'Raywood') is a deciduous shade or flowering tree for landscapes and gardens. This variety has a broader and bushier top than other ash with good fall color and is great for climbing. Older specimens often topple over and are uprooted in prolonged rain and wind due to the overly large canopy. The native species is most common in production.
