Modesto Ash - Fraxinus velutina 'Modesto'
The Modesto Ash (Fraxinus velutina 'Modesto') is a deciduous shade tree ideal for landscapes, gardens, and street trees. This variety tends to be more compact and full in habit than the species. It also has the same great toelrance of harsh conditions. While this plant is for warmer climates it need a dormancy period and does not do well in zones 10 and 11.
