Fan Tex Ash - Fraxinus velutina 'Rio Grande'

The Fan Tex Ash (Fraxinus velutina 'Rio Grande') is a deciduous shade tree ideal for landscapes, gardens, and street trees. This variety stays much smaller than other Fraxinus velutina, and moves from a yellow to orange fall color. While this plant is for warmer climates it need a dormancy period and does not do well in zones 10 and 11. This plant is a cultivated variety of Fraxinus velutina.
