Fremont Silktassel - Garrya fremontii

The Fremont Silktassel (Garrya fremontii) is a flowering broadleaf evergreen shrub for landscapes and gardens often grown as a hedge and native to Pacific coastal forests. This plant is coveted for the pendulous tassel like flowers and is adaptable to many conditions. This species needs some water during dry months. There are several varieties of this species in production.
