Wintergreen - Gaultheria procumbens

The Wintergreen (Gaultheria procumbens) is a small broadleaf evergreen groundcover native to much of the Eastern United States. This plant has very durable evergreen foliage and a little Lily of the Valley type flower in spring, with a red berry that persists through summer and into winter. This plant has no negatives of note. The native species is most common in production.
