Ericaceae - Gaultheria tetramera

The Ericaceae (Gaultheria tetramera) is a small broadleaf evergreen shrub for landscapes and gardens. This plant has very durable evergreen foliage, a beautiful Lily of the Valley type flower in spring and a purplish blue berry that persists through summer and into winter. This species is very frost and wind sensitive in winter. The native species is most common in production.
