Chilean Palo Verde - Geoffroea decorticans
The Chilean Palo Verde (Geoffroea decorticans) is a medium sized deciduous tree for landscapes and gardens. This plant has brilliant and profuse yellow flowers in spring, and a gorgeous green exfoliating bark. This plant has very long sharp spines that serve as branchlets for the leaves. The native species is most common in production.
