Kentucky Coffeetree - Gymnocladus dioica
The Kentucky Coffeetree (Gymnocladus dioica) is a medium sized deciduous tree for landscapes and gardens native to much of the United States. This tree is pollution and drought tolerant. With age it develops very thick knotty branches which make it seem much older than it really is. This plant has no negatives of note. The native species is most common in production.
