Brazilwood - Haematoxylum brasiletto

The Brazilwood (Haematoxylum brasiletto) is a medium sized broadleaf evergreen flowering tree for arid landscapes and gardens. This tree has very unique and attractive tubular flowers all summer long, and beautiful heart shaped leaves. The species bears long sharp thorns on the young growth. The native species is most common in production.
