Carolina Silverbell - Halesia tetraptera

The Carolina Silverbell (Halesia tetraptera) is a small flowering tree found predominately in wetlands of the Southeast, but ideal for gardens and landscapes. The plant is tolerant of sun and some shade. It is great as a stand alone specimen or naturalized into forest edges. This plant has no negatives of note. The native species is most common in production.
