The Primivera Witchhazel (Hamamelis X intermedia 'Primavera') is a small flowering tree for gardens and landscapes. The native parents are found in woodland understories throughout the United States. Witchhazels are known for their early spring and winter flowers that open on warm days and close when it is cold. Hybrid varieties have been developed for flower color and size variations. This plant has no negatives of note. This is a cultivated variety of Hamamelis x intermedia. Some of the close-up photos have been taken from the parent for identification purposes.
